Frequently asked questions
Does FireApt need an internet connection?
No. Every question and image is bundled with the app, so it works completely offline. The app makes no
network requests at all.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start practising.
Where is my progress stored?
On your device only. Your last 50 sessions are saved locally so the history screen can show your trends.
Nothing is uploaded. See the privacy policy for detail.
How do I clear my history?
Use the clear option on the progress history screen. Deleting the app also removes all stored data.
I think an answer is wrong.
Please tell us. Email the section name and question number with a short note on what looks wrong, and we
will review it. Corrections ship in the next update.
Will my progress transfer to a new phone?
Not currently. Because history is stored locally and never uploaded, it does not follow you between
devices or survive a fresh install.
Is this the real FRV test?
No. FireApt is an independent study aid with entirely original questions, modelled on publicly described
practice assessment formats. See the note below.
